The Hillsborough Society of Optometrists (HSO) is excited to announce the return of the Fall Classic Continuing Education Seminar. We are building on our well-reviewed and extremely successful meetings in the past. As you may know, the Fall Classic has historically been our society’s premier event and the best chance to reach optometrists from the Tampa Bay and surrounding areas.
This year’s event will be held from Saturday, October 5, 2024 through Sunday, October 6, 2024. This two-day event will offer more quality hours than ever before. The location is easily accessible at the upscale Westshore Grand, formerly, the Intercontinental Hotel Tampa, adjacent to Shula’s Steakhouse. We will be offering continuing education courses covering a variety of eyecare topics, Transcript Quality hours, Florida Jurisprudence and Medical Errors. These hours and courses are required to maintain a Florida license which tends to draw a large number of attendees. In the past, we have had attendance in the hundreds. By early planning and publicizing, our goal is to exceed previous numbers, however, attendance can never be guaranteed.
The HSO Board offers different levels of sponsorship and would love for your organization to be a part of this exciting event.
In order to guarantee your reservation as a speaker, we will need to receive payment, a copy of the speaker’s CV and lecture outline by April 30, 2024. Full Presentation and TQ questions (when applicable) must be received by September 1, 2024.
Our society functions purely on donations and member dues for our events. We greatly appreciate your interest in our event! Please contact us with any questions.
